Nike Announces Changes for Members of the C-suiteThe company's highest female exec will take on expanded roles amid a turbulent year for the company.

[Collection]Nike is changing things up again. The sports apparel and footwear company announced Tuesday that two members of the c-suite have expanded titles. Heidi O’Neill, president of Nike Direct, who leads all of Nike Inc. retail stores and the company’s web site, will also oversee Nike digital products and services. O’Neill, whose tenure at Nike spans two decades, is one of the highest-ranking female execs within the company. She has also held roles at Levi Strauss & Co. and Foote Cone & Belding, an advertising agency in San Francisco. “Heidi is a proven and accomplished leader with strong retail, e-commerce, general management and brand management experience,” Elliott Hill, president, consumer and marketplace said in a statement. “We’re confident in her ability to lead Nike Direct through the next transformative and digitally led era for Nike.” In addition, Adam Sussman, Nike’s chief digital officer, will be vice president, general manager for Nike Direct Digital and Geographies, continuing to oversee the digital side of the business while taking on a bigger role in management.    The changes come amid a turbulent year for the sports apparel company. In March, Nike president Trevor Edwards resigned following reports of inappropriate behavior, leaving Hill to run the ship. The
