[Collection]Trina Turk has appointed Jacqueline Hickey as chief executive officer, effective immediately. Hickey takes over the role from designer and founder Trina Turk, who had served as the company’s chief executive since launching the brand in 1995. Turk will focus on her role as creative director for the brand. “Jackie’s multi-faceted expertise and understanding of the brand make her the ideal leader for the Trina Turk and Mr Turk teams. I look forward to focusing on the creative, while Jackie takes over the business and operational aspects of our company. We’re excited to have a female CEO with Jackie’s qualifications,” said Turk. Hickey most recently comes from Bebe Stores, Inc. where she served as vice president of merchandising.
