Paoloni Invests in Emerging Brand BrognanoThe manufacturing company bought a 35 percent stake in the Italian apparel label.
[Collection]MILAN – Italian emerging brand Brognano has found an investor.
Manufacturing company Paoloni, which in 2009 supported the launch of the MSGM label, has bought a 35 percent stake in Dicia 7 S.r.l, parent company of the Brognano fashion brand. The remaining stake is held by the label’s founders Nicola Brognano and Stefano Toselli. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.
As a result, Paoloni also becomes the licensee of the brand through a newco named Fashion Container S.r.l. Paoloni holds 51 percent of that company, while Brognano and Toselli own the remainder. The international distribution of the brand will continue to be managed by Riccardo Grassi Showroom.
Designer Nicola Brognano said he was “sure that together [with Paoloni] we will give the company the right push to develop the business.”
“I see in Brognano all the potential needed to create a brand able to [attract] a national and international audience,” said the manufacturing company’s president Michele Paoloni, adding he appreciates the founder’s energy and passion for the fashion world.
